Matt and co.
Dawn and I had a great time on Friday. It was good to finally meet you. I had fun doing the Maiden tune also. We'll be looking forward to the prog-show this fall. Take care guys and we'll see you soon.
-Gordon
Matt:
Gordon -
Thanks so much for driving down from Baltimore to check us out. It was great to meet you and Dawn.
I had a ton of fun with you jamming with us. You've got a helluva voice!
We're also looking forward to doing a prog-show with y'all. Things are looking really cool. A National Act or two may be in the works for the show too. ;) I'm just hoping it all pans out like we want.
Metal on!

hey guys, You did great on friday night at Monks. I really enjoyed all the tunes. The Pink Floyd was awesome. Also enjoyed the Heaven and Hell/last in line/rainbow in the dark/heaven and hell medley. (suggest fitting in Holy Diver for the next show):)
Keep up the great work.
Michelle, missed you at the DT concert this year. Hope all is well with you.
mb
Matt:
Mike -
Thanks for the support! I'm glad you were able to come out, and even more so that you had a good time!
Dio is one of my favorite singers. He is a very talented man, and I hope I can at least partially do him justice! Speaking of Dio, I'll be seeing him, Mötorhead, and Iron Maiden tomorrow! I can't wait!
Yes, the Pink Floyd tune was strictly for something different and some fun. They are my favorite band of all time, so covering their music was a lot of fun. I’m really glad the crowd enjoyed it too!
Rock on!

Hey Matt:
It's Michelle..remember me!! I have a friend that is moveing to California Maryland for a job. I just met him through my mom's boyfriend. He is cool and enjoy's our music. I thought it would be cool if you could invite him to one of your show's. He is from Montana. He lives in California right now. He is just finishing classes at the GIA school for Jewlery. His name is Kjell Hansen. Is it O.K. if he e-mails you if he needs some help finding a place? Let me know if it is cool. I am in California visiting my mom right now. That is how I met Kjell. They are both in the same school together. How is Nicki? Bryan and I are fine. He now works for Northrop Grumman in Ohio. More later. Let me know if you can help my new friend out? I write more when I get home. Metal On!!
Megirldeth Michelle
Matt:
Michelle -
Good to hear from you! I see you online from time to time, but I guess it could be Bryan, too.
I'll email you soon and respond to your post. I hope your new life in Ohio is treating you well!
Rock on!
P.S. We missed you at Dream Theater show this year....both times! ;)

Ok Matt, It's real easy. First you open your e-mail. compose a new message, put this e-mail address in the to: box. then go ahead and tell me a little bit about yourself and what's going on in Southern Maryland!! Pretty easy huh? Give it a try. and then you get a reply.
Matt:
LOL
Check your email.

My name is Gordon from the band Images Of Eden. We are a prog-metal band out of Baltimore...very similiar to Queensryche meets less technical Dream Theater/ Fates Warning. I came across your website and was very impressed with your songlist and overall website. There are not many talented/ technical bands around anymore who can pull off this type of music. Do you plan on playing in the Baltimore area anytime soon? Also, check out our website at www.imagesofeden.com and listen to the mp3s. I think our bands could be compatable. Let me know if you like what you hear and maybe we can book a show together. Take care, Gordon.
Matt:
Gordon -
It's nice to see appreciation for our style and technical ability - especially from other musicians in the genre. Thanks!
We'd love to do some shows with y'all sometime - both up in Baltimore and down in Southern Maryland (and wherever else we could play together). Shot me an email, and I'll do the same with you. I think we would rock doing a show together!
Metal on!

O.C.,
Great job on Friday. You guys rocked! The Scorpions remake was most excellent. It brought back fond memories of highschool and getting snubbed by chicks and scolded by the nuns. Ahh... the good old days.
You guys were great. Everything was on and Craig did a fantastic job on guitar and keys. Metal on!
- Mark
Matt:
Mark -
Thanks for the praise - and the laugh - nuns and chicks! LOL.
Craig did a wonderful job, especially for the short time he's been with us. Look for him to continue to progress and find his place in the band.
Rock on!

Matt:

Alright, Dude. I'll send you a CD. Are you going to send me your CD?
I do email you though. Just not as often as I should. :(

Well, there will never be a question on your ability to investigate. But now you have to really question yourself in really knowing who I am. You may think you have an but my son you are mistaken. Do you really know? Questions that surround you, are the convictions that you live with. After you make your choice you are convinced about your decision, but how can you judge someone else if you really don't know YOURSELF! Make sure you are certain about the people you let in your life, they are never what you think.
Matt:
Matt:
Hi, Dan. As usual, you make me laugh with your alter ego.
How are things in Oklahoma?

Hey Odin's Court! Looking forward to hearing the new addition, Craig! He's a great guy and extremely talented individual! He's also our sound guy - all-around talent! He should add a flair and tenacious rock element to the overall awesome sound already called "Odin's Court"!!
Looking forward to head-banging with y'all! :)
Matt:
We're looking forward to it also! He won't play on everything quite yet, but he will on a lot of it. There was a lot of stuff for him to learn in 2 weeks.
Metal on!

Hey! Glad to see you've added more show dates! Will DEFINITELY try to go to all or most of them!

Matt:

Yep, we're adding them from time to time. We try not to overplay or underplay - it's a difficult balance most of the time.
Glad you're going to be at some shows; it wouldn't be the same without you!

On a Quiet Night by Li Po
I saw the moonlight before my couch,
And wondered if it were not frost on the ground.
I raised my head and looked out on the bright moon;
I bowed my head and thought of my far-off home.
Matt:
Your entry isn't a relevant post considering the topic of this website, but it is a nice little poem. I'm not quite sure why it was put here...
What can I say? Okay then...

Well I guess it's obvious I know nothing about Metal. Someday I'll study a little more. I am currently sacrificing many of my slaves and will soon will be out of gifts for my lord. I am just a slave myself. But very soon, I will aquire many more slaves and I hope to do so at your worship ceremony. Did you sell your soul to obtain to upper hand at the so-called battle of the bands? I see no words about it on your site.
At the end there will be an empire that will rival the Romans. USA? Plan accordingly for your future. You all will be judged and I will see you all in HELL where you will serve me!!!!!!!!
Matt:
Hello, DAN formerly of Brainstew. ;) You crack me up with your pranks.
Battle of the Bands was a joke as is every gig at that establishment. Their treatment of bands is appalling. Some things never change. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. We learned our lesson.
So, when are you and your new band coming back to SoMD for a gig with us?
Rock on.

Great to hear from you! We're doing great. We had a fun time at Jaxx in Springfield last week. You guys would love that place - it's a lot like the Dome.
I hope things are going well with JJ Rodd also. Y'all put on a hell of a show and are top notch professionals.
We need to rock together sometime again soon - maybe this summer?!?!?!
